T-Ball

Nash had fun with TBall this year. He didn't play last year. The attention span and patience just wasn't there. Much more patient this year! The odd time after a practice was done I had to tell him to go run the bases a couple times and he would feel better. He'd hate it when he had to run slow because he would catch up to the kids in front of him. His middle name should have been Forrest. He sure loves running.

Little Munchkins

Kind of an odd picture.....
The kids were helping their dad spread out some plastic to form a vapour barrier under the floor of our family room. Who would have thought it would be so much fun?!

Mason's Baseball

Mason had a great year with his Rookie baseball team! He was one of the older more experienced players this year (his 3rd year) and hit a lot of home runs this year! His confidence level is definitely up! One game after he had already hit one home run, he went up for his next at bat and as he approached the plate, he started tossing the bat back and forth between his 2 hands. I thought, "Oh no, Mason, too cocky!", but he came through with another home run! What a guy :) Mason was lucky to also be able to play up with the Mosquito team on occasion. He's looking forward to being on that team next year. He did well transitioning from pitching machine to real pitching! I'm glad he's enjoying it.

Our Day at the Lake...more to come

Father and Sons.
Proof that I was actually there too.
Relaxin' with his old fishing rod (HE WON A NEW ROD THIS PAST WKD AT HIS BASEBALL TOURNAMENT!!!)

Mason was a little disappointed the fish weren't bitin'.
Absolutely Adorable.

Our Day at the Lake

The boys bonding over skipping some rocks off the dock.
This photo of Ella reminds me of the old swings they used to have at Kiwanis.
One happy man.
Ella looked right at home on a boat, like she'd been doin' it all her life.

Maiden Voyage

Is this what your supposed to look like when you go for a boat ride in June? I don't think so. But we did anyway. Eager to try out our new boat, we went for our first ride the day after Dad's birthday. "With a little help from our friends", we got it in the water and had a fun time!
(Touques courtesy of Daryl & Yvonne's chinese auction, thanks!)
Our old boat sold too! BONUS!!!!!

Party, Party, Party!!!

It was so cool to buy Nash a game I used to play on our old Nintendo! Now he can play it on his DS. I got to try it out a bit one day and he was amazed how good I was! That felt good. Considering I suck at all the other video games he plays :)....Can't wait to try it again!
